Call for Application for Selection Committee Member 2024 - 25
Rajasthan Cricket Association intends to appoint Selection Committee for Senior Men, Junior Men & Women the season 2024-25.
Interested candidates with adequate experience, who full fills following minimum criteria may send their resume in prescribed format.
For Senior Men’s Selection Committee,
Applicant must have played minimum 10 matches of First Class Cricket.
Applicant must be retired at least 5 years previously from the game at the time of application.
For Junior Men’s Selection Committee,
Applicant must have played minimum 5 matches of First Class Cricket.
Applicant must be retired at least 5 years previously from the game at the time of application.
For Women’s Selection Committee,
Applicant must have represented the Women’s Rajasthan Team.
Applicant must be retired at least 5 years previously from the game at the time of application.
Candidates who have been member of any selection committee of RCA in past for equal to or more than 5 years in total would not be considered.
Candidates would be required to submit a declaration that he/she would not associate to any cricket coaching academy.

Notice for Extraordinary General Body Meeting
The Extraordinary General Meeting of the General Body of Rajasthan Cricket Association shall be held on April 8th, 2024, at 09:00 AM at Marriot Hotel, Ashram Marg, Near Jawahar Circle, Jaipur 302015 to conduct the elections for the post of President in the Apex Council (Executive Committee) of Rajasthan Cricket Association for the remaining term until 2025.

Founded
Rajasthan Cricket Association was founded in 1931 at Ajmer and was earlier also known as the RAJPUTANA Cricket Association. It started participating in the Ranji Trophy tournament from 1935-36 and staged matches against a number of visiting foreign teams.
Shift, Final Name & Destination
In November 1956 the Headquarters of the Association shifted from Ajmer to Udaipur when his highness Maharana Bhatwat Singhji of Mewar became the President and who as a great Patron of the game revitalized the Association and brought the late Prince Duleep Singhji in September/October 1959 to Udaipur to impart the Finer points of the game to Rajasthan cricketers. In fact His Highness name goes in record book as the trophy given to Zonal Champion of Central Zone, which comprised of Rajasthan, Indian Railways, Vidarbha, Uttar Pradesh and Madhya Pradesh was named “MEWAR” Trophy.
Finally the name of the Association changed to RAJASTHAN Cricket Association in 1957 and Headquarter office shifted to Jaipur. In early days of cricket in Rajasthan, cricket was basically played on matting wickets specially in Mayo College of Ajmer , Alwar and Udaipur districts.
