The calendar year 2010 has been one of immense significance and achievements for Rajasthan Cricket Association. After successfully hosting the India-South Africa ODI and IPL 3 matches, the year is set to culminate with India – New Zealand ODI. It is for the first time in the history of RCA that two ODIs of bilateral series are going to be held in the same calendar year. We thank the BCCI for giving us this honour and also for letting us host the Irani Trophy match, the domestic season curtain-raiser. This has allowed us to test our ability to host the 5-day match, and strengthen Jaipur’s case for hosting a Test Match. RPL would be a reality sometime in the next year and with that, a significant new chapter would get added to the RCA Calendar.

On the infrastructure front, RCA has acquired its own piece of land in Udaipur where work on an International stadium along with an Academy has begun in right earnest. Selection of architect for construction of a World Class stadium in Jaipur has already been done and identification of a suitable piece of land is now in advance stages. Bhilwara has hosted a BCCI match after many years and Barmer is ready with a beautiful stadium of its own.
